Viewing Images

The Bead Man online bead shop is best viewed using the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

It can also be viewed using Internet Explorer (version 6 and higher), Safari & Netscape Navigator.

If using Mozilla Firefox, go to “Options” in the Tools menu, then select the “Content” tab. Make sure that Java and Java Script are enabled. Also select the “Advanced” button and ensure that the advanced options for Java script allow windows to be moved, resized, raised and lowered.

If using Safari, go to “Preferences” in the Safari menu, then select the “Security” tab. Make sure that Java and Java Script are enabled.

Images are best viewed with a computer monitor setting of 1024 x 768.

When viewing images, the initial “Thumbnail” view is usually a good approximation of the actual size of the bead, though not in all cases. It is always best to refer to the dimensions which are given in millimetres for each item. We are gradually standardising all images so that both the “Thumbnail” and the image on the main information page are as close as possible to the actual size when viewed with a monitor setting of 1024 x 768.

We have done our best to ensure that bead colours are as accurate as possible. However colours can vary depending on individual computer monitor settings.
