Express Post Registered Post Parcel Post International Post Returns GST
Postage is calculated by The Bead Man after your order has been placed and before you make any payment. You will then receive an email, telephone call or fax advising you of the total amount of your order including postage. We will choose the most efficient and economic method of sending your parcel. Alternatively, you may specify the method that you would prefer in the "Special Instructions" box when you are placing your order.

All parcels are shipped by Australia Post, using either the Express Post satchel service or the Registered Post service, in order to ensure delivery and to be able to be traced if necessary. The Bead Man has found Australia Post provides a competitive, fast, reliable and economic service for all parcel deliveries.
Express Post satchel - Rates for shipment to anywhere within Australia, (including Norfolk Island) are as follows:
• Parcels weighing up to 500 grams - $7.70

• Parcels weighing over 500 grams and up to 3 Kilos - $10.90

Most parcels are sent using the Express Post satchel method. It offers fast delivery time at a reasonable cost. If the parcel will not fit into your letter box, a card will be left advising that your parcel is available for collection from your local Post Office on presentation of identification.
Registered Post - Parcels weighing over 3 Kilos and other bulky parcels will be sent by Registered Post. A card will be left advising that your parcel is available for collection from your local Post Office on presentation of identification. The rates for Registered Post vary according to the weight of the parcel and the destination. There is also a Registered Post charge of $2.75 per parcel. In some regional areas, such as Far North Queensland and the Northern Territory, it can actually be cheaper to send multiple Express Post satchels. Orders sent by registered post and which are valued at over $100.00 will require additional insurance. The charge for this is $1.25 for every additional $100.00 or part thereof.

Ordinary Parcel Post - If the total value of your order is less than $20.00 and the parcel weighs less than 500 grams, we can send your parcel by ordinary parcel post, provided you specifically request this. This can be done in the "Special Instructions" box when you are placing your order. However in this case your parcel can not be tracked, and therefore The Bead Man cannot accept any responsibility in the event of loss or non-delivery of your parcel. Ordinary Parcel Post charges range from $1.10 up to $5.40.

International - International parcels will be sent by Australia Post Air Mail. All International parcels must be insured.

Goods returned within this period are subject to a 10% restocking charge. Returned items must be in their original packaging. Partial returns cannot be accepted.
